About me
Luc's personal experience with Rolfing & SE
After years of back pain and countless attempts at therapy, I became aware of Rolfing® by chance in 2008. During the first treatment, I was amazed that the Rolfer not only addressed my problem areas, but also worked on the entire body. He advised me that my symptoms were related to my posture and that local treatment would not provide long-term relief.
A few years later, I had another incredible experience, this time on an emotional level, when I learnt about the Somatic Experiencing® method. This helped me to overcome traumas that I didn't even realise I had. Thanks to this work, I now live happier, more present and with more vitality. How was this possible? What exactly had happened? I wanted to understand these treatment methods better and pass on my experiences.
